Apparently, it wasn't torrents that gave me spyware -- it was UTorrent...? I went to utorrent.com (redirected from google) and downloaded utorrent... and i found a bunch of internet explorer windows pop up (i knew it wasn't popups from the internet, because my default browser is firefox)... Sooo was it Utorrent?... I haven't downloaded any torrents yet, so it can't be that... |

What you gotta do, is download uTorrent, then use it to download Ad-Aware to clean your computer of the spyware uTorrent gave you. And I use Azureus. uTorrent is supposed to be better, but I'm a lazy dog, fuck new tricks. And torrents are godly, if you really can't get uTorrent to work, give Azureus a spin. Its user friendly, and the only down side is that it uses alot of resources because it has so many GUI's. |

Limewire is the best. Everyone i know using torrents got fucked. Limewire for two years now and still virus free. BTW, i have no virus protection software, and i turn all my firewalls off because it gives me a larger usable internet bandwith. I win. As long as you dont download any programs from limewire, you will be fine with it. |

glitch, i bet everyone you know using torrents also thinks that all torrents from pirate bay or torrent spy are safe. That and the idiots using limewire thinking that an entire 2hr movie can fit on a 2,540 kb .asf file. That and its called port fowarding -_-'....jeez turning off your firewalls. NO god damn fucker on any p2p can make it close to ISP caps anyways Don't blame the p2p programs, blame idiots who can't read and use common sense |
